Dear Fairport Community:
The Fairport community is preparing to vote on our proposed capital improvement project, Fairport Forward: Foundations for the Future, on Tuesday, Dec. 10 at Johanna Perrin Middle School gymnasium from 6 a.m. – 9 p.m.
Highlights of the proposed $56.7 million Phase 1 Capital Improvement Project include:
- Secure entrances at each building and districtwide safety improvements
- Districtwide infrastructure maintenance and boiler replacements
- Technology rooms renovation at Johanna Perrin Middle School
- Science classroom upgrades at Fairport High School and Martha Brown Middle School
- Reconfigured bus loop and student drop-off/ pick-up at Jefferson Avenue School
- Cafeteria and gymnasium renovation at Fairport High School
- New corridor and lockers at Fairport High School
- Multi-purpose fields at Fairport High School for physical education and athletics

Absentee ballot application for Dec. 10 capital project vote
Residents who are unable to vote at the Capital Project Vote on Dec. 10, 2019 because of disability, illness or travel may apply for an absentee ballot by completing the application and returning it to Fairport Central School District, Office of the District Clerk, 38 W. Church Street, Fairport, NY 14450.
Community invited to proposed capital project events in November
The Fairport Central School District will host upcoming events for the community about the proposed capital project, Fairport Forward: Foundations for the Future.
A Board of Education meeting on Tuesday, Nov. 19 will begin at 6:30 p.m. at Fairport High School, room 512, and will include a presentation of the proposed capital improvement project ahead of the vote on Dec.
Fairport CSD announces proposed capital project – vote is Dec. 10
The Fairport Central School District is proposing a capital improvement project, Fairport Forward: Foundations for the Future Phase 1, for the community to vote on Dec. 10, 2019. The District’s Board of Education adopted a resolution for this capital project vote at it’s Oct. 22, 2019 meeting.
