Supporting Emotional Health and Well-Being
-
Financial support for this series of parent engagement sessions is funded through the generous support of Concord ABC Board as part of our shared effort to educate students and families on adaptive coping skills to decrease the use of alcohol and other illicit substances. Emotional dysregulation is understood to be a factor in substance abuse and the development of resilience skills discussed in these intervention may help promote resistance skills and prevent drug and alcohol abuse. These skill building sessions serve as drug and alcohol abuse prevention education activities.
