EMPOWER Mission - To ensure EMPOWER scholars are provided equitable access and care using data-supported systems that foster their growth as conceptual learners.
EMPOWER Vision - Access and service by intentional action!
The purpose of EMPOWER NTE tours is to establish a college-going culture and expose scholars to post-secondary education pathways as early as possible. Selected scholars in 5th - 8th grades are invited to attend and one parent/guardian is invited to attend with them. Campus scavenger hunts and panel discussions are apart of the enriching tour day, which includes a visit that extends the scholar's learning in the areas of cultural relevancy and social justice. EMPOWER's mission is to make college tangible and ignite college dreams!
