MISION & VISION
As CCS School Psychologists, we advocate for the academic, behavioral, and social-emotional growth of all children through solution-focused and strengths-based problem-solving, consultation, collaboration, and direct services, while building relationships with students, families, educators, and communities.

Advocate
- Academic, behavioral and social-emotional growth of ALL students
- Assist in developing Individualized Education Plans with teams
- Developing academic and behavioral plans tailored to student needs
- Best practices, including equitable practices within legal and ethical guidelines

Collaborate
- With school and district mental health teams (school counselors, social workers, SROs, and nurses)
- With students through psychoeducational groups, individual counseling, and crisis prevention/intervention
- With school communities including parents, teachers, students, administrators and other school and community stakeholders to promote multi-tiered systems of support
- With IEP teams to serve children with disabilities

Evaluate
- Complete comprehensive psycho-educational evaluations for students with disabilities
- Assist in designing and analyzing school-wide screenings for academic, behavioral, and social/emotional concerns
- Assist school teams in monitoring the effectiveness of interventions
