WHES Student Leadership Advisory

These students submitted an application and were voted by our Faculty Council for demonstrating responsibility and leadership at home, at school and in the community. Their membership will continue throughout their 5th grade year as they serve as the voice of WHES students. They will provide input in school decisions, survey students, offer tours, escort guests and contribute to school service and community involvement.

Students Leading Tours

Our SLA members are so knowledgeable about WHES and are such great communicators! They are leading tours for prospective parents! They are also greeting guests who are interested in the teaching and learning at Weddington Hills! We've had visiting faculty from Elizabeth City Schools, Rowan-Salisbury Schools, Iredell-Statesville Schools and the Cabarrus County Board of Education.

Room Service is a Big Hit!

SLA members have been delivering VIP room service monthly treats to our well deserving staff members.
