My name is Regina Blackmon and I am a Public Health Nurse with Cabarrus Health Alliance. I am the school nurse for Weddington Hills Elementary, where the staff and students call me "Nurse Regina".

 

I have been a nurse for greater than 20 years. I received a Master's of Science in Nursing from the University of Phoenix and a Bachelor's of Science in Nursing degree from UNC- Charlotte. My nursing experience includes Emergency, Pediatrics, Ambulatory Care, Corrections, and ICU/CCU.  Most recently I served as a High School Health Occupations Teacher.   I am very excited to add School Health Nurse to my experience list.

 

School Health has been of interest for greater than 10 years. I am grateful for the opportunity to serve as a School Nurse. I am looking forward to promoting wellness for students, staff and their families. I enjoy spending time with family and friends, watching movies, reading, and gardening.

 

 

Nurse hours: Monday - Friday 7:30 AM to 3:00 PM

School hours: Monday - Friday 8:15 AM to 3:00 PM
