Mrs. Rebecca Blackburn

Hello!  My name is Becky Blackburn and I am so proud to be a kindergarten teacher here at Weddington Hills Elementary!  I have been teaching for 15 years and this is my 3^rd year teaching kindergarten.  It is my favorite grade to teach!  There is so much growth that happens during this important year in a child's development. I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with my Bachelor of Arts in Elementary Education.  My husband and I have 3 children, two of whom go to UNCC now, and our youngest goes to West Cabarrus. Outside of school, I like to spend time at the lake with family and friends, read and travel.  I know it's going to be a great year in Kindergarten!
