I am excited to begin my 14th year teaching.  This is my sixth year at Weddington Hills and I cannot wait to work with the wonderful 4th grade team again this year!  Prior to coming to Weddington Hills, I taught kindergarten, 2nd grade, and 4th grade at A.T. Allen and was a lead teacher at Wolf Meadow. 

 

I grew up in the small town of Siler City, North Carolina.  I attended UNC-Chapel Hill where I was a North Carolina Teaching Fellow scholarship recipient and majored in elementary education.  My husband is also a teacher in Cabarrus County.  We are the proud parents of a 1st grade daughter, a one year old, and a dachshund.  When I am not at school, I enjoy cheering on the Tar Heels and spending time with my family.

 

We are going to have a great year together and I look forward to a year of learning!
