NTHS Applications will be given to eligible seniors in September and eligible juniors in March.
Membership requirements:
- Minimum of 3 CTE courses in a pathway with one being a second level course.
- 3.0+ overall GPA unweighted
- 3.0+ GPA unweighted in CTE courses
- No out of school suspensions during high school career
- No more than three in school suspensions during high school career
Additional membership requirements for the candidate to complete:
- Three (3) completed teacher recommendations – at least one must be a CTE teacher
- List your three teachers on your application.
- Student written statement of school/community service projects
- Display leadership qualities/strong work ethic though active involvement in at least one of the following:
- Career Technical Student Organization (DECA, FBLA, FCCLA, FFA, HOSA, Skills USA)
- School-sponsored student service organization (Leadership, Beta, etc.)
- Civic or Service Organization (Scouts, Church, etc.)

Don't forget to include your paragraph. elizabeth.poole@cabarrus.k12.nc.us Payment will be made using the K12 online payment system. The total NTHS fee is $35 = $30 is remitted to NTHS and $5 for the graduation cord.
