Welcome to Central Cabarrus High School! I am so happy to be here with you this year! I am a Harrisburg native and a product of Cabarrus County schools, graduating as a Viking in 1997. I am married and have 2 daughters, Kendall and Addison. I went to Appalachian State University for a Bachelor's of Science in Health Education and taught middle school health for 9 years in Cabarrus County. In 2011 I went to nursing school at Stanly Community College and became a registered nurse. I worked as a nurse for 4 years, spending time in the Emergency Department, an asthma and allergy clinic, and a post-surgical unit. I have a true passion for education and I am so excited to be at Central Cabarrus for my 7th year as a Health Sciences Teacher!
