Ms. Herrmann

Hello, and Welcome!

Ms. Herrmann is an NC licensed teacher who teaches American History. Her goal each year is to make meaningful educational experiences available to each of her students and create the opportunity for all students to learn and develop important life skills.

In addition to being a proud member of the Viking family, Ms. Herrmann also serves as an alum member with the UNC Charlotte Kappa Delta Chapter where she completed her B.A. in History, Secondary Education, and Philosophy. Go Niners! Go Vikings!

Communication and Canvas:

The main form of communication for my classroom will be through Canvas announcements and email. Students are encouraged to use their school email address, download the canvas app to their phones or tablets, and to turn on notifications for Canvas updates. All Canvas updates and announcments are automatically sent students emails. Using my email address for any questions will be the most efficient way to ensure a prompt response from myself. Parents, please use the information below to enroll in, and monitor the progress of your students in my canvas course.

Important Canvas Note - While Canvas does store and show grades, it does not show every grade that students receive.  PowerSchool should still be monitored to view student grades.
