Mr. Joshua Adams

Mr. Adams is a graduate of Cabarrus County Schools. He attended Mount Pleasant High School and is a graduate of the Class of 2015. Mr. Adams received his Bachelor of Music in Instrumental Music Education (K-12) and a Bachelor of Music in Music Performance (Clarinet) from Appalachian State University in 2019. His studies eventually brought him back to Cabarrus County where he student taught at Jay M. Robinson High School in the Fall of 2019. Prior to his appointment in Cabarrus County, he held the position of Long-term Substitute Band Director at Parkwood Middle School in Monroe, NC. There, his responsibilities included directing 6th, 7th, and 8th grade bands. During his time there, Mr. Adams helped take the 8th grade band to the District Music Performance Adjudication (MPA) in Level II where the band received a Superior rating. He is married to his wonderful and supportive wife, Samantha. They live in Cabarrus County with their Golden Retriever dogs, Luke & Leia.
