1. Yes, I am that tall and yes, my name is Small.
- I am 6'5" and love to wear high heels. I definitely stand out in our hallway.
- I have heard all the Sandlot references.
2. Yes, I played basketball. No, I did not play volleyball.
-Born in Maryland; raised outside of Raleigh, NC. I went to Elon University on a basketball scholarship. I played professionally overseas before returning to the States where I began teaching and coaching in Charlotte.
3. I have 3 children, all in the CCS school system, 2 dogs, 2 bunnies, and our 2 class guinea pigs.

Welcome to English class!English I and II curriculum follows the North Carolina Common Core standards. The curriculum centers around the theme that "all change involves a new way of thinking". Students will explore the world and self through reading and writing, within different genres, and for different purposes.English III curriculum follows the North Carolina Common Core standards. Students will explore American Literature, works, and documents from the 17th century through the present. Students will center learning around the desire for power, freedom, and equality and how they act as catalysts for change.AP Research is the second course in the AP Capstone program. AP Capstone is an innovative diploma program from the College Board that equips students with the independent research, collaborative teamwork, and communication skills that are increasingly valued by colleges. AP Capstone is built on the foundation of AP Seminar and AP Research and is designed to complement and enhance the in-depth, discipline-specific study experienced in other AP courses.
