Art Olympics
Middle school students spent their last day of art class participating in the Art Olympics. Student groups rotated to seven different stations;
Station #1 Teacher Appreciation Cards
Station #2 Still Life Set Up and Draw
Station #3 Found Object Sculpture
Station #4 Geometry Puzzles
Station #5 Tall Towers
Station #6 The Catapult
Station #7 Famous Artwork Mix-up
To make it challenging a five-minute timer was set for each station. Groups were awarded points for a variety of things that were different at each station; creativity, height, distance, etc. All students did a great job thinking outside of the box and the winning group won a can of soda!
