• Flight will provide a qualitatively differentiated curriculum to enable academically and/or intellectually gifted students to reach their potential.  To plan such programs, the teachers should incorporate curriculum goals addressing content, process, product, and learning environment. 

    • CONTENT – to relate content to major ideas, concepts, and themes
    • PROCESS – to provide students with opportunities to identify relationships across disciplines through critical and creative thinking, problem solving, and logic
    • PRODUCT – to enable students to create new ideas and products by synthesizing current knowledge and transferring it to new situations
    • LEARNING ENVIRONMENT – to structure a physical and emotional environment that recognizes and addresses the unique characteristics of academically gifted students and accommodates a variety of learning style
