At Lincoln Elementary, we are proud to be a Missouri School of Character and a National School of Character. In 2011, Lincoln Elementary was named a Missouri School of Character. Only 10 schools, out of more than 3,000 schools, in State of Missouri received the Missouri School of Character Award.
With more than 100,000 schools in the United States, Lincoln Elementary is one of only 44 schools to receive the National School of Character award for 2011. In the world of awards, becoming a National School of Character is like winning the World Series of Character Education. The students, faculty and staff now serve as role models for an entire nation of schools. Lincoln Elementary will hold the state title for three years and the national title for five years.
