LCR3 uses ParentSquare for all parent and family communication. this platform is a one-stop-shop for our families to see information that is tailored to their students. ParentSquare automatically generates an account for each parent using the email address and phone number on file in our student information system. We encourage parents to download the mobile app, login, and update their information and preferences on when and how they are notified.

Calls during the school day or early morning are reserved for emergencies or important information, such as school closings or delays. Evening calls may be used for general information, absence notices, and lunch account reminders. 

• Keep your contact information up to date by logging into the parent portal, calling your child's school office, or calling 636.462.6098 ext. 1. 

Lincoln County R-III School District uses email as a primary source for communication. Additionally, because texting can be limited to a certain number of characters, schools/the district may send detailed information to you through email. 

• Keep your primary email address up to date with your child’s school or through the Parent Portal. Make sure your spam folder isn’t blocking emails from LCR3. Please do not unsubscribe from school email. 

The Lincoln County R-III School District uses text messaging as a primary source of communication. If something important happens during the day, you may receive a message via text. Also, look for general reminder messages.

Lincoln County R-III School District may activate the web alert system during an emergency or weather event. It places important information in the center of the District’s website.

We strive to communicate with our staff and parents first. However,  we continue to have a growing community on Facebook, and do our best to keep them up to date with the celebrations and events happening in our schools. 

• Sign up for a Facebook account and “like” the LCR3 Facebook page, and the page of your child’s building.

LCR3 uses this social media platform to post quick general news, celebrations, and updates as they happen.

• Sign up for a Twitter account and “follow” LCR3, @Linc_R3, and find your child’s building on Twitter.

LCR3 has a District homepage and a page for each of our thirteen campuses. Our website helps you keep up to date on calendars, lunch menus, contact information, clubs and much more.

The Tyler Parent Portal gives you confidential access to your child’s grades, attendance, schedule, lunch balance, and teacher contacts.

• You can access the parent portal through our website, the LCR3 mobile app, or download the Tyler Student 360 app in your app store. Click here to log in 

The news media covers many LCR3 stories of interest and may publish or broadcast school information during an emergency or inclement weather.

• The primary news media outlets that cover LCR3 include: Fox 2, KMOV 4 , KSDK 5 and The Lincoln County Journal.

Most of our schools send out a monthly newsletter that will help keep you up to date on events and other important news in your child’s building.

LCR3 utilizes the service of PeachJar to help keep you informed of community services and events in and around our area. It is a great way to stay informed and help be responsible for the environment.

Lincoln County R-III tries to limit printed material. Some printed materials are available in your school’s main office for those who do not have access to the internet.
