Fairport Central School District planning is underway for the 2018 Homecoming Weekend, September 28. The District’s 4th Annual Raider Nation Homecoming Weekend will celebrate tradition with the Fairport community. More information will be shared as the event gets closer.

Fairport High School awarded diplomas to its graduating students on June 21 during its Commencement ceremony at the Blue Cross Arena.

Among the speeches during the ceremony was guest speaker, FHS English Teacher Mark Lincoln. The salutatory address by Tara Schroth and valedictorian address by Brennan O’Connor were among the other speeches given alongside musical performances by Fairport High School students.

The Fairport Central School District has appointed Jeremy Slack as the new assistant principal of Northside School, effective July 1. He replaces Erin Moretter, who will become the school’s new principal on July 1.

Superintendent Brett Provenzano said that Slack will be a terrific addition to the administrative team at Fairport.

Dear Fairport School Community:

As you may be aware, in the past several months we have been collaboratively working with members of our school community regarding the odors from the Waste Management (WM) High Acres Landfill. I would like to update you on where we are as District since the last update in Winter –

Fairport Central School District held a celebration for new tenure-granted educators, following the Board of Education’s approval on the District’s recommendation to grant tenure to 22 educators, on Monday, June 11.

Many Fairport Central School District families will soon be celebrating the Fairport High School Commencement for the Class of 2018, June 21 at the Blue Cross Arena.

Congratulations to Mr. Mark Lincoln, Fairport High School English teacher, who was nominated by the students as their graduation speaker. The Class Valedictorian is Brennan O’Connor and the Salutatorian is Tara Schroth.
