The District is in the initial stages of developing the 2022-23 school year budget and is seeking parent and community feedback on the development process.
One way to get involved in this process is through the current ThoughtExchange (TE) confidential survey, which closes Wednesday, Feb. 2 at 9 p.m.
Construction crews continue their work at Fairport High School (FHS) as part of the 2019 voter-approved Fairport Forward Capital Improvement Project. As the District had previously communicated through the school budget process, over the next three years the Fairport Central School District will receive funding from the Federal Coronavirus Response and Relief Supplemental Appropriations (CRRSA) Act and the American Rescue Plan (ARP) Act. These one-time funding streams will allow the District to provide necessary programs and services during this time when the District is moving out of the pandemic and more students are returning to in-person instruction.
Residents in the Fairport Central School District approved the 2021-22 school budget with a 74% approval.
