Attendance procedure update
Fairport Central School District is updating attendance procedures districtwide to reinforce student safety.
FCSD piloted automated attendance calls through the district’s SchoolMessenger mass notification system last year at several schools. After a successful trial, this notification procedure will be implemented districtwide by mid October. The system automatically phones parents/guardians of students who are marked absent from school.
Fairport students experience increased technology integration
Fairport CSD recognizes that technology skills are vital standards in several curricular areas. Information and media literacy are embedded into many programs including but not limited to library, social studies and English language arts.

Stacie Miller is named new assistant principal at Brooks Hill beginning Aug. 27
The Fairport Central School District is excited to announce Mrs. Stacie Miller has been selected to serve as the next assistant principal at Brooks Hill Elementary School. Starting Aug. 27, she will join the school’s leadership team and help welcome Fairport students and staff back for the start of the 2018-19 school year.

The Fairport Central School District will begin the administration of the New York State Grades 3 through 8 English Language Arts (ELA), mathematics, and science assessments this spring.
