The Fairport Central School District will begin the administration of the New York State Grades 3 through 8 English Language Arts (ELA), mathematics, and science assessments this spring. The District has outlined information for parents regarding these assessments, which you can read more about under the ‘Parents’ tab, and then ‘3-8 Assessments’.
If you decide that your child will not take a specific New York State assessment, a form providing the required information may also be accessed on the page linked above.
For internal planning purposes, if you decide that your child will not take a specific New York State assessment please submit the refusal form to your child’s principal as soon as possible, but no later than Wednesday, April 4, 2018.
