Hello, I am Denise Fleming.  I serve Granite Falls Elementary and Granite Falls Middle, Sawmills, Horizons and Gateway as the school nurse.  I began my nursing career in Medical/Surgical nursing and quickly moved to Pediatric Nursing because of my desire to care for and nuture children. I then came to Caldwell County Health Department in 2000 and began School Nursing in 2002. I love my job and my students. Working with students and families to help remove health barriers in the learning process has been a very rewarding experience.
