I earned a Bachelor of Arts in Education from Lenoir Rhyne College.  I taught 4th and 1st grade at Hildebran Elementary.  After teaching in Burke County for six years, I decided to pursue a Masters Degree in Library Science from Appalachian State University.  I've been the Media Coordinator at Granite Falls Elementary for eighteen years.
