I'm so blessed to be your child's teacher.  Our year is going to be filled with amazing new adventures.


My name is Caitlyn Council and this is my sixth year teaching 4th grade at Granite Falls Elementary School.  Prior to teaching at GFES, I taught Developmental Reading and English at Caldwell Community College and Technical Institute for a year and a half.  I also work with the youth at First United Methodist Church, Granite Falls.   I am a graduate of Appalachian State University.  


Traveling is my passion.  I have been all over the world but even the most simple road trips with family and friends excite me.
