I graduated from Western Carolina University with a degree in Elementary Education.  I taught sixth grade at Granite Falls Middle School during the 2002-2003 school year, and started working at Granite Falls Elementary School in August 2003, where I am currently teaching second grade.  My husband, Eric, and I live in Hickory.  Traveling to the mountains and the beach is something we enjoy.
