Mrs. Meghan Kubit

Hello! 

My name is Meghan Kubit and this will be my second year as the 8th grade counselor at Concord Middle IB World School.  I was born and raised in Michigan and moved to North Carolina in 2021. Prior to working at Concord Middle, I was a high school counselor in Rochester, Michigan.  I have a bachelor’s in social work and a master’s in School Counseling and Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Oakland University.  I have a passion for working with young people to help them find their path in life.  

I will be working with students in whole class settings, small groups, and one-on-one. I can help students in the areas of personal, social, emotional, career readiness, and college readiness. I am always here to listen.

My IB character trait is: principled . I have a strong love for learning and finding out as much as possible about the world around me.
