Information About Student Growth and Progress

We will be sending progress reports home about every four weeks and report cards will go home every nine weeks. In between progress reports and report cards, you may check your child’s progress on Mastery Connect.  This will not show all student data, but will be able to give you an idea of areas of strength and weakness.

We use a standards based grading system, which is based on each student's individual progress on a standard within a reporting period. This allows for us to see where students are and how we can best teach them in order for students to meet or exceed grade level expectations at the end of the year.  It also allows for students to be able to have many opportunities to practice and reach mastery of grade level standards.
