Mrs. Lesley Bennett

I am so happy to be part of the Bethel Family!  This is my 4th year working in education and my first as a Bengal! After fifteen years in the corporate world, I left it all behind to pursue my passion for teaching. I have a bachelor's degree in history and completed my educational licensure with Lees-McRae University. I have taught combo classes and I have experience in kindergarten through fifth grade, including a stint as a fully virtual teacher.  I am so excited to be back in the classroom this year!

I am a North Carolina native, originally from Gaston County before moving to the country in Stanly County.  After more than a decade in Albemarle, where I began my teaching career, my family and I moved to Midland in 2020.  I have been married for fourteen years and we have two children, Caroline and William, who is also a proud Bethel Bengal!    

I look forward to a great year working and collaborating together!
