About Ms. Smith

I'm so excited to be a Bengal!   

I grew up in upstate New York, but have lived in many different places including Richmond, VA, Charleston, SC, and Washington, DC.  I also lived abroad for one year in Peru. I graduated from NC State and have two children. I love to read, hike, and travel.

Every day in the classroom is an opportunity to show students that they are cared for and to share my love of learning.  I am grateful to experience the daily adventure of growing our brains and our hearts together.  I am looking forward to making this the best school year yet!
