Hello amazing artists and families!

I am excited to join the Bethel family this year as your new art teacher!

Here’s a little information about me: This is my fourth year teaching art and my first year in Cabarrus county schools after my transfer from CMS.

I graduated from the University of North Carolina at Charlotte with a BFA in Art Education and a BA in Anthropology. I love being able to create with my students. I enjoy drawing, painting, and printmaking. I also enjoy embroidery and weaving. When I am not working, I enjoy reading and documentaries in my spare time.

I am very excited to greet you all and learn together! This year I will also be joined by my student teacher, Andrea Klauss, a graduate student at UNCC! Our art team has been creating activities which I hope you all will enjoy!
