    Substitutes

    Substitute positions include teachers, paraeducators, clerical, transportation, child nutrition servers, and custodial. Each Substitute position may require certain skills testing to be completed. It is the responsibility of the applicant to schedule any needed testing. Please call (360) 473-1026 to schedule testing after the online application has been filled out.

    Here are the Substitute/On-Call Pay Rates for our district. (effective September 21, 2022)

     

    GENERAL SKILLS TEST (For Classified positions)

    We schedule tests on an individual basis as needed.

    Positions requiring testing are:

    • Substitute Paraeducator
    • All Clerical Positions
    • Child Nutrition Services Server

    Please contact the Human Resources Office to sign up for a testing date (360) 473-1026.

    Testing takes place in the Human Resources Office at the Administration Building. You must have a complete application in order to schedule testing. Please be sure to check back periodically to see if there have been any changes to the schedule.

    Certificated Positions

    For positions that require a certificate, please provide the required information on the application for the job you are seeking.  If you are currently in the process of obtaining the needed certificate, you may attach a document with this information and what certificate you are applying for with OSPI (Office of Superintendent of Public Instruction).

    For candidates with out-of-state credentials, you will need to have a valid Washington certificate but please apply if you are willing to go through the process!  We can assist you with information on the process.
