• Campaign intro (coming soon)

Why is regular attendance important?

    1. Academic Progress: Regular attendance ensures that your child receives consistent instruction, covers all essential standards, has access to all levels of support from our expert staff, and keeps up with their peers. Missing school days can lead to gaps in understanding, making it challenging for students to catch up.

    2. Social and Emotional Growth: Daily attendance allows students to form strong bonds with their teachers and peers, fostering a sense of belonging and emotional support. These relationships are essential for a positive school experience.

    3. Cumulative Impact: While it may seem small, missing just one day per week over the course of a school year amounts to an entire month of school missed! Students that come late or leave early (tardies) consistently are missing important classroom meetings and social emotional connection as well.

Missing school can have long-term impacts!

    • In the elementary years, children who miss school are more likely to struggle academically and, in later years, to drop out entirely

    • In the secondary years (middle/high school), attendance is the No. 1 predictor of dropout and graduation rates

    • Attendance is the top indicator of being on track for graduation and for college and career readiness
