Middle School Parking Lot Reopening Friday, September 4th

Good afternoon!

The middle school parking lot is "temporarily" completed. Nothing is staked down while we try out this proposed solution. My hope is that parents and guardians dropping off students will follow these instructions:

1. Enter from the North entrance.

2. Drive along the West side of the parking lot.

3. Unload children on the Southwest corner. (There is no parking there now.)

4. Continue to the East.

5. Use the new entrance/exit and turn LEFT leaving the property.

It is our hope that this will reduce the amount of traffic and congestion.

The middle school parking spaces are identified with railroad ties at this time. Each one is 10 feet wide and 20 feet long. A 3/4 ton crew cab truck fits in them. However, nothing is staked down so we can change as necessary. My apologies for the loss of parking spaces in the middle school. The need to try to eliminate traffic was a safety issue and necessary. As I am not a parking lot expert, if you have an idea or suggestion, feel free to let me know. The parking lot is open again beginning tomorrow.
