From the Desk of Dr. Halley: School Closure Updates
Good afternoon, Putnam! Dr. Halley shares updates on YouTube regarding school closure through April 6, 2020, in accordance with Governor Parson's order. He also shares ways you can engage your student(s) in continued learning during this time away from school and how your schedule for learning at home might look different than a typical school day.
In order to honor social distancing, email is the most reliable way to communicate with our staff. Feel free to visit the staff directory located on the website to view a full directory of staff emails.
We are now distributing sack lunches to over 200 children in Putnam County. We greatly appreciate all of our kitchen crew, volunteers, donations, and community support.
Our teachers are continuing to work from home to engage our students in learning. We encourage you as parents to keep your student(s) engaged in the learning process. If you have any questions for a teacher, feel free to email them as they are checking their email on a regular basis.
Stay tuned to our website and school Facebook page for more updates and information.
Stay well, Putnam.
