FFA Installs New Officers

On Thursday, June 11th the Putnam County FFA Chapter held its' officer installation ceremony in the middle school auditorium.  The officer interviews for this were held on May 28th, 2020.  The new officers were (l-r):  President, Maggi F; 1st Vice President, Emily D; 2nd Vice President, Carsen S; Secretary, Justin W; Treasurer, Katelyn R; Reporter, Tori G; Sentinel, Vanessa B; Historian, Cora H; Parliamentary, Grace S; and Chaplain, Chase S (not pictured).   Also at this event, a few awards were presented.  The Star FFA Greenhand was awarded to freshman Chase S.  This award is given to the most outstanding first-year member.  The Star Placement in Agribusiness was presented to Mason P.  This is given to a member with an outstanding placement SAE program.  The Star Chapter Farmer award was presented to Lainie C. This award is for a student with an outstanding production-based SAE program.  The final award presented was the Dekalb Outstanding Senior Award, and this was presented to Tony B.
