PC FFA Wins Area FFA Battle of the Chapters
On August 1, 2013, the Putnam County FFA Chapter attended the Area III FFA Battle of the Chapters competition at Long Branch Lake in Macon. This annual recreational activity consists of fun games and activities that the area schools compete in. This year sixteen Putnam County FFA members attended and competed as two teams. When the results of the day were concluded the Putnam County A team placed first out of twenty teams. The games competed in were: Tug of War, Volleyball, swim relay, minute to win it, obstacle course relay, and a sand castle building contest. The Putnam County team placed well in most event and won first place in Tug of War, and the Water Relay and placed second in the obstacle course relay and volleyball. Those attending for the Putnam County FFA were: Chelsey V, Gus V, Justin D, Josh V, Devin V, Riley W, Tanner B, Megan T, Jamie T, Hunter H, Ashley S, Drake M, Jarrod M, Quincy N, Shelby R and Bailey M.
