November CTE Student of the Month
The CTE (Career and Technical Education) staff wants to recognize the hard work and dedication of the students in our programs. We believe that CTE courses are vital to the success of our students in the future -- whether students are headed to work or college or tech-school after HS. The skills you are learning in CTE courses WILL help you.
Last year this recognition was restarted -- I hope you have noticed our display on the wall in the main hall outside Mrs. Klinginsmith’s door. If you haven’t, please check it out! We have a 20-21 plaque currently in production.
Each month the CTE teachers get together to select a student to represent the department as Career & Technical Education Student of the Month. Many factors are considered, including:
-
Attendance/Grades
-
Cooperation with fellow students and teachers
-
Enthusiasm for Subject(s)
-
Positive Attitude both in the classroom and out
-
Leadership Qualities
-
Community Involvement
This month's winner was nominated by Coach Bondy and Mr. Morris. Here are some things that were said about our November winner:
"Kaitlyn has served two years as a tech. assistant and as an FFA officer. This year she is serving as chapter treasurer and has done a great job totaling fundraising sheets, entering sales totals into spreadsheets, and counting money for deposits. This is an important job that requires attention to detail to get everything done right. Kaitlyn also completes many tasks as a tech assistant and is always eager to help and get a task done correctly."
CONGRATULATIONS KAITLYN!
