Battle of the Chapters

Thirteen members of the Putnam County FFA Chapter attended the Area III FFA Battle of the Chapters competition at Long Branch Lake in Macon on August 2, 2018. This activity is a recreational activity designed for FFA members from area schools to compete in fun competitions and various games. This year’s games included: volleyball, sand castle building contest, tug-O-war, along with a cardboard boat float and a relay. The Putnam County FFA members did well in the competitions and put their best effort forward. One of the thirteen members of our chapter is the Area III President, Whitney R. She played a major role in organizing the events for Battle of the Chapters. Those attending for Putnam County FFA were: Aaron P, Hayden H, Aaron S, Gavin M Tony B, Richard R, Jacob B, Kaitlyn R, Tori G, Cole R, Grant M, Vanessa B, and Whitney R. Also in attendance, were chapter advisors Clyde Bondy and Randy Morris.
