The Milpitas Unified School District notifies the community of its intent to apply for funding under the 21st Century Community Learning Centers program (CCLC). The purpose of the funding is to provide opportunities for communities to establish or expand activities that focus on improved academic achievement, enrichment services that reinforce and complement the academic program, and family literacy and related educational development services. MUSD’s application represents three of our elementary schools; Randall Elementary, Rose Elementary, and Weller Elementary, who meet the funding eligibility requirements.
If awarded funding, MUSD will disseminate information about the 21st CCLC program in a manner that clearly states our goals with information posted on our website and announced through local news resources. We invite comments and partnerships as we work to improve the services offered to our students through quality expanded learning programs. This announcement serves as public notice of our intent to apply. Comments are closed.
