Milpitas Unified School District is now offering resources to parents on the topic of Digital Citizenship. These resources cover topics such as cyberbullying, protecting your child's reputation, online etiquette, respecting creative work, research skills, plagiarism, and more. We will be constantly adding more resources and information to this part of our website as we get them.

New Responsible Use Agreement

What can you do?
If you need help learning about how to teach your children to use technology responsibly, follow these steps:
- Visit Common Sense Media's website-www.commonsensemedia.org
- Download Net Cetera: Chatting with Your Kids About Being Online. It is a resource that provides tips about talking to your kids about online behavior. You may download it from the locker on the left side of this screen.
- Contact your child's teacher or the school counselor
- Contact your child's principal

This is a great site that provides resources for parents, teachers, and kids. There are videos and even books you can get from this site. The books are stories that you can read to your children to teach them about online safety and the videos are made for kids as well that are fun to watch and provide a learning experience.
