LCR3 believes consistent communication with parents and the community is essential to the success of our schools. Click on the List below to find the best ways to stay informed, particularly during an emergency. During an emergency, our goal is to provide accurate information, in a timely manner, using channels of communication that will accommodate a variety of preferences. The communication methods listed are all official means of communication from the district.

ParentSquare
LCR3 uses ParentSquare for all parent and family communication. this platform is a one-stop-shop for our families to see information that is tailored to their students. ParentSquare automatically generates an account for each parent using the email address and phone number on file in our student information system. We encourage parents to download the mobile app, login, and update their information and preferences on when and how they are notified.

Parent Alert Phone Calls
Calls during the school day or early morning are reserved for emergencies or important information, such as school closings or delays. Evening calls may be used for general information, absence notices, and lunch account reminders.
- Keep your contact information up to date by logging into the parent portal, calling your child's school office, or calling 636.462.6098 ext. 1.

Parent Alert Email
Lincoln County R-III School District uses email as a primary source for communication. Additionally, because texting can be limited to a certain number of characters, schools/the district may send detailed information to you through email.
- Keep your primary email address up to date with your child’s school or through the Parent Portal. Make sure your spam folder isn’t blocking emails from LCR3. Please do not unsubscribe from school email.

Parent Alert Text Message
The Lincoln County R-III School District uses text messaging as a primary source of communication. If something important happens during the day, you may receive a message via text. Also, look for general reminder messages.

The Tyler Parent Portal gives you confidential access to your child’s grades, attendance, schedule, lunch balance, and teacher contacts.

Most of our schools send out a monthly newsletter that will help keep you up to date on events and other important news in your child’s building.

LCR3 utilizes the service of PeachJar to help keep you informed of community services and events in and around our area. It is a great way to stay informed and help be responsible for the environment.

Printed Material
Lincoln County R-III tries to limit printed material. Some printed materials are available in your school’s main office for those who do not have access to the internet.
