Students who have read at least four Mark Twain Award nominee books or four Truman Award Nominees will be invited to a special event in March to vote and discuss their favorite book from the lists. More information to come.
In addition, students may compete in our upcoming Battle of the Books with Wentzville Schools. Teams are made of 4-6 students who have read the Mark Twain nominees (6th grade) or Truman nominees (7th or 8th grades). Our first Battle will be to determine the Troy Middle School representative, which will be in January. In March we will travel to either Frontier Middle School or Troy South Middle School to compete.
