• The purpose of the Lincoln County R-III School District's social media presence is to facilitate an ongoing dialogue on education in our schools. The R-III District is dedicated to instilling good character in our students though our character education program. Therefore, the Lincoln County R-III Schools only encourages an environment, online or otherwise, that supports this initiative.  

    We encourage your comments; your ideas and concerns are important to ensure that a broad range of community members are active and informed participants in the discussion. Lincoln County R-III School District reserves the right to modify this policy at any time and expressly reserves the right to remove comments from its pages and ban users that violate in of our guidelines if deemed necessary.

    Lincoln County R-III Schools retains the right to remove or not remove comments. In addition, we expect  participants will treat each other, as well as our district, our employees, and our students, with respect. Comments may be removed if they fall into the follow categories:

    • Contain vulgar or abusive language
    • Personal attack of any kind or offensive terms targeting specific groups
    • Are clearly off-topic or considered SPAM
    • Make unsupported accusations
    • Poster is not a resident tax payer of the Lincoln County R-III School District
    • Refer to employees or students, by name or identifiable information, in a harmful or derogatory way
                      

    We won't edit comments to remove objectionable content, so please ensure that your comments contain none of the above. To protect your own privacy and the privacy of others, please do not include personally identifiable information, such as name, Social Security number, addresses, phone numbers or email addresses in the body of your comment.

    In the R-III District, parents can have their students excluded from being featured on social media channels, district or school, by contacting your child's school. This will not exclude your child from wide group shots in large assembly-like (or otherwise) settings photographs. It does include photos where your child is clearly visible and identifiable in foreground or background of photographs. Each school will verify media exclusions before utilizing a photo on social media or website.
