Welcome Lisa Benson to Fairport as Director of MTSS!

The District is proud to announce that Lisa Benson will join the Fairport CSD administration as the Director of Multi-Tiered System of Supports (MTSS). In this newly-created position, Mrs. Benson will head the development and implementation of a District-wide academic and social emotional support structure and also network with community-based resources.

June 7, 2023 – Air Quality Health Advisory and FCSD Response

As of the morning of Wednesday, June 7, an Air Quality Health Advisory is still in effect for the Monroe County Area.

The DEC, Department of Health and our school physician recommend limiting or reducing outdoor activities for teens and young children when a Health Advisory is in effect.

June 6, 2023 Air Quality Health Advisory and FCSD response

We are carefully tracking the air quality reports coming in at the local and state levels. 

The New York State DEC issued an Air Quality Health Advisory for much of the state, including Monroe County, for Tuesday, June 6, as a result of an increased amount of particulates in the air.

Fairport Board of Education adopts a resolution for adding a proposition for new track and field facility to upcoming Capital Improvement Project

Appointment of Stacie Miller as Director of Math, Science and Technology

The District is pleased to announce that the Fairport Board of Education has approved Stacie Miller to serve as the District’s next Director of Math, Science and Technology (MST).

Mrs. Miller has served as the Assistant Principal at Brooks Hill Elementary School since 2018. She brings an unrivaled enthusiasm and passion for MST and Fairport.

Residents approve 2023-2024 budget

Thank You

Residents in the Fairport Central School District approved the 2023-2024 school budget with 2,634 votes, a 60% passing rate.

The results of the budget vote and Board election are as follows:

2023-2024 School Budget: 4,378 votes

YES — 2,634

NO — 1,744

Crazy Dog T-Shirts donates Brotherhood-Sisterhood shirt proceeds to Joey Fund

The FCSD would like to extend our deepest thanks to our amazing partners at Crazy Dog T-Shirts for their donation to the Fairport Central School District’s Joey Fund!

The folks at Crazy Dog presented a check for $4,160 to the Joey Fund Committee officers on May 9. Crazy Dog donated the proceeds from the sale of Brotherhood-Sisterhood Week t-shirts to the Fund,
