Four Fairport High School students have been selected for the Rochester Philharmonic Youth Orchestra (RPYO), with three performances scheduled over the next season. FHS students Paul Besch-Turner (violin), May Fastais (violin), Noor Rouhana (violin) and Sammy Stringer (oboe) were selected in the Spring 2021 for the Youth Orchestra. Representatives from the RPYO say that the season’s tagline is “No More Distancing From Our Music!” The Fairport Central School District congratulates these talented musicians on their achievements! 

The RPYO performs three concerts this season:

Sunday, Nov. 14, 2021 at 7:30 p.m. at Hochstein Performance Hall

Sunday, March 6, 2022 at 3 p.m. at Auditorium Theater with the Rochester Philharmonic Orchestra

Sunday, May 8, 2022 at 8 p.m. at Hochstein Performance Hall
