The Fairport Central School District Board of Education voted to adopt the 2021-22 school budget at the April 20 Board of Education meeting at Fairport High School.
Budget highlights include:
- The $138,667,456 proposed total budget is a 2.59% increase over the prior year’s budget
- The budget is in compliance with the Property Tax Cap
- The estimated tax rate is a projected $23.40, a 2.05% increase
- The proposed budget addresses the social emotional and academic needs of students, provides meaningful academic and extra-curricular opportunities, and prioritizes smaller class sizes at the elementary level.
Residents will vote on this budget Tuesday, May 18 from 6 a.m. to 9 p.m. at Johanna Perrin Middle School. The Budget Public Hearing will be held on Tuesday, May 4, at 6:30 p.m. in FHS Room 512.

- Proposed 2021-22 school budget in the total amount of $138,667,456
- Proposition #1 authorizing FCSD to appropriate and expend from the Capital Technology Reserve Fund an amount not to exceed $185,000 for the purchase of information technology equipment and supplies

Fairport Public Library
- Proposed 2021-22 Public Library budget
- One Public Library trustee
