Hello Families! 

My name is Ashley Lockee and I am so blessed to be a Kindergarten teacher here at GFES. I have lived in Caldwell County all of my life and it is an honor to teach in a community that I love with all my heart! I attended Caldwell Community College & Technical Institute, earning my Associate in Arts Degree. I then attended and graduated from Appalachian State University with my Bachelors of Science in Elementary Education. 

I am married to my husband, Justin. We have two boys, Bryston and Jaxx. We have a Golden Doodle named JuJu. She is just like a human to our family and we love her very much! In our free time, we love being outdoors, reading books, and just spending quality time together. 

Inside our classroom we are truly blessed to have a wonderful instructional assistant, Ms. Gina Phillips. Gina and I make an amazing Kindergarten team. I am so proud of how hard Ms. Phillips and I work together to make sure all of our students are loved, cared for, and have all the tools they need to be successful in Kindergarten!
