It is a pleasure to be your child's teacher this year.  I would like to take this opportunity to tell you about myself. 

I grew up in Granite Falls. In fact, I even attended  Granite Falls Elementary.  After graduating from Lenoir Rhyne College, I married Kyle Clontz.  We live in the Dry Ponds community.  We have two children, Robert and Hannah.  Our "free time" is spent chasing our own children as they participate in church, college, high school, fire fighting, dance and cheerleading. 

I feel truly blessed to be a teacher.  As a teacher it is my first responsibility to make sure that each child feels safe and loved.  Once this is accomplished, the learning limits are endless.
