Hi!  My name is Amy Bright and I will be your second grade teacher!  This is my twentieth year teaching, and my seventh year in second grade.  I love second grade because of all the exploring, learning, and fun we get to have!  

  I went to school in Chester County and I graduated from Downingtown High School in Pennsylvania.  I went to college at Gardner-Webb University where I earned my degree in elementary education. I also have earned my National Board Certification.  My first eleven years were spent in third and second grade in CMS. I love to teach and I can’t wait to share all the exciting things you will learn this year. 

  You will get to know me well throughout the year, so I wanted to introduce myself.  I have been married for seventeen years and have a 14 year old son named Micah and a 12 year old son named Kai.  We also have an enormous dog named Thor who is like a third child.  In my free time I enjoy watching my boys play every sport known to mankind and helping my husband run our gyms, QCFIT Northlake and WEst.
