Hello!  Welcome to our class.  I know this year is starting a little differently, but I am still so excited to meet all of you.  I know that one day we will get to meet in person.  A little about me... I moved to North Carolina  from New Jersey in 1993.  I earned a BA in Elementary Education in 1996 from UNC Charlotte.  I started teaching in Cabarrus County in 1996.  Shortly after, I took a break from teaching to start a family.  I returned to Cabarrus County in 2010, here at Odell.  I've been teaching first grade for eight years now and I love it!  I love our Odell family and this community! I have two daughters, 22 and 20.  One is graduating this year from UNCC and my youngest will graduate next year from NC State.  I went back to school in the spring to pursue a Master's Degree, so all three of us are in college!   We have an adorable Maltipoo named Calvin and he is just a bit spoiled.  In my free time, I enjoy dancing Salsa and watching football.
